Kindergarten & 1st Grade

Teacher: Mrs. Briana Perez

Research shows that providing your children with a positive Kinder or Transitional Kinder program has beneficial long-term effects on their overall education. Experts have found that children who attend high quality programs have better vocabularies and more advanced literacy.

In addition, children in strong K-1  programs have advanced social skills and are more adaptable to changes and new situations.

For many children, K-1 grade is the foundation of their education. It is a time for both play and learning, two facets in which there is a great deal of overlap. Leaving Kindergarten is a big step for children, our 2nd-3rd grade class focuses on developing your children’s skills so that they approach school with confidence, excitement and eagerness.

5–8

Teacher: Ms. Michele Cortner

In 5th -8th grade, students are given more responsibility and autonomy over how they learn. They should be self-managing and organizing by the end of the two years to prepare for a successful middle school experience. Parents can expect to see growth in vocabulary, writing and conversational skills, and problem solving in math and science.

Our 5th–8th program also requires a digital device–tablet or laptop–to begin transitioning students to the online platform. They will learn typing and light coding, how to use the Microsoft Suite, and how to be a responsible Digital Citizen.
Middle School is a time of self-discovery! Students will form firm friendships, grow a true desire for learning and success, and discover their purpose in the world as a servant of God. We want our 6th-8th graders to be fiercely independent and strive for academic success out of self-desire.

Students will tackle real-world concepts and problems in math, science, and history, such as buying a car, balancing a checkbook, protecting human rights, and debating Moral/Ethical issues in our modern world. Project-based learning, leadership, and independent small group work is emphasized in our Middle School program.
